CAN I RUN WITH A BABY STROLLER OR DOGS?

Baby strollers and leashed dogs are allowed. Plan to start at the end of the pack of runners at the start line. Please take extra caution to insure the safety of other runners, yourself and your child. If running with a dog please clean up after them.

WHY MILES FOR MANKIND EXISTS

Imagine having no electricity, no running water, only dirt floors and mud huts to live in. You are stuck in the cycle of poverty with a limited 6th grade education in Pinalito, Guatemala. The only way out of the cycle is a high school education; the problem is that the closest high school is in Zacapa City, a four-hour walk (one way) from Pinalito.

Faith in Action’s Zacapa dormitory provides a place where the children can stay and attend secondary schooling in Zacapa City. With your help, we are raising funds to establish an EDUCATION ENDOWMENT that will support the Pinalito children living at Faith in Action’s Zacapa dormitory. Miles for Mankind’s dream is to help make secondary education a true possibility for as many children as possible.

Your support will help change the future for these children and their families forever.

HOW ESLE CAN I HELP?

Donate online or by check. Checks can be mailed to 45009 Rolling Ridge Ct. Canton, MI 48187, dropped off at packet pick-up or dropped off on-site the day of the race. Make checks payable to Miles for Mankind.

We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization all donations are tax-deductible!

Pinalito Gold Coffee beans will be sold on-site. This coffee is the absolute best coffee in the world coming from the little mountain village of Pinalito, Guatemala. Organically grown at the perfect elevation. Money raised through the sale of this coffee is used to help the local villagers survive. It will be sold at the Packet-Pickup Location on Friday as well as after the races on Saturday!
