Our Provider! Fall 2023

Any space Jesus is invited into becomes a place of Fullness and Life!

We are so excited for all that God is doing through Faith in Action: with raising up local boots on the ground in the villages of Guatemala, while also establishing a vision on how to become a sending platform for local missionaries beyond Guatemala's borders!

Our focus this summer was stove projects, Sunday school programs, sports camps with our dormitory students, and working on the construction of the church in our new village of Antiquin!

There is nothing more exciting than being able to do missions as a family, to watch God include our kids in the ministry, and see the ripple effect of obedience help give others the confidence to take their own steps together as a family, in the purposes of God. There is an abundant life found when we are joined by a purpose beyond ourselves.

Light Has Come!

We have planted 10 churches, in villages that had never had a church, or Gospel presence. Now, these regions have a thriving congregation, as the Light of the Gospel has continued to light up families hearts and homes, one personal encounter with Jesus at a time.

This year we have been able to start a Children's Sunday School program that is every Saturday of the month, in 5 of our villages. This is a church service dedicated to the children of the village, providing an interactive teaching, ending with questions and answers at the end, and a nutritious snack for everyone that attends. It has become another way for the seeds of the Gospel to be carried back into homes still in need of the light of Jesus.

Here is a preview of what joining a Sunday School Program in our villages looks like! Skits, worship dances, games, and testimonies led the days events, with everyone losing their voice by the end! A small sacrifice for the memories made and the door to planting seeds of Hope in so many little hearts.

Field-trip with Our Bonus Kids!

We took our Bonus kids on a tour of the Spaniard Castle near our river mission base.
We discovered that dungeons make for great acapella worship singing. Took everyone tubing, stuffed ourselves with pizza, had movie nights, and the very best: ending with worship and testimonies on our friends roof top!

The faithfulness of God can be traced back through every life, all the way to the beginning of Creation. It's a story that we could never grow old thinking and sharing about.

BELOW: Our Bonus Kids are a source of great joy to everyone they meet. At the private, Christian school they attend, they are not only top of their class, but the choice pick in any dramas or presentations the school director and teachers request. Even little Anita has begun participating in the skits, having to perform in-front of the whole class!

Summer Interns and Teams

Building the Kingdom of God requires one thing from us: surrender. Most people have the desire to be used of God, but not always the "willingness" to be inconvenienced for Him. But if we can cross that bridge, of giving Him freedom over our day, we will experience a living, loving God who longs to engage this world in tangible ways, and show us deeper layers of His heart in the process! He not only comes alive for others through our obedience, He becomes more ALIVE to us as well!

"Whatever it looks like, whatever may come.." kind of surrender will lead you down a path of no regrets in your spiritual discovery of Jesus.

Church Construction Update!

The church construction has moved in leaps and bounds over the summer! A huge thanks to everyone that joined us this year. We would not be at a place of opening its doors this year without everyone who invested their sweat, gave up sleep, and worked through the summer rains to help see the pastors home and church walls be built!

The introduction of the gospel has come with both, great favor and great opposition. We know that spiritual forces as working against these people discovering the freedom in Christ that the Gospel invites us into! But we feel we are on the edge of a great field of harvest in this new region, we have not lost heart.
We can't expect to invade the enemy's camp without battles, but we can always expect victory when Jesus is leading. The inauguration is the end of October, if all goes well!

We are fully furnishing out the pastors home, with 7 kids. Bunk beds, dressers, kitchen and dinning room set.
If you would like to support this, let us know! The total cost for the purchase and delivery of the furniture for their new home is $1,750.

Stove-Top Projects

This is one of our favorite projects we started up this summer! It is perfect for all-ages, and allows teams to have personal interaction with the families, as we hike to their homes to build them the adobe mud base, and install their stove tops and chimneys to get the smoke out of their homes.

They are so grateful, as it helps them cut down on the amount of firewood they have to haul, but most importantly it gets the smoke out of the lungs of the babies and elderly who are the ones that most seek the warmth of the fires heat, and therefore struggle with the worst lung issues.

What Joining a Team Looks like?

Whether you choose to join in on the challenge or hang back and interact with our education program in town teaching english and having sports days with our students, it is all about giving God permission to love on people through using our hands and feet!

There is nothing more beautiful than experiencing His love for humanity, by being willing to step into someone else's story and be a friend to them exactly where they are at.

1-month Internship: $1,500 (Transport, food, mission base housing included: personal expenses off the base are not included.)

Find Your Pulpit

A pulpit is a place where your life, your actions, your words, hold a place of impact: a place where Jesus is invited to shine His light and speak His Truth through you. Our pulpits will all look different, but our message will be the same: a living and loving God in pursuit of a lost and broken humanity.

We discover deeper layers of His heart and our identity when we allow Him to reach through us to serve others. We are all called to be His bride, and from that foundation of being Loved, become His body, poured out for others to also experience Heavens reality, here on earth.

Blog Post Title Two

It all begins with an idea.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
